MTA MONITORING AND SURVEYS

The New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) requires track certification for any personnel to enter the system. Our Certified Track Safety Technicians provide Pre-construction Tunnel Inspections and Vibration Monitoring. HSI provides all the equipment and installation for successful monitoring of the subway tunnel or elevated tracks.

Vibration monitoring for the MTA requires a technician to be on site to monitor the Seismographs and report all activity to the MTA Inspectors.

Please note: The Transit Authority needs 4-6 weeks notice to set up installation of vibration sensors and to perform the Pre-Construction Survey.
